Mirrors List

To add our mirrored repositories to your system, open a terminal and backup your mirrorlist file:

# cp /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.bak

Next edit the file with your favorite editor (nano is used in the example):

# nano /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

Append/Paste the following lines of code at the top of the file:

Server = https://glua.ua.pt/pub/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch

Exit and save the changes.

Finally refresh and synchronize pacman's package list:

# pacman -Syy

Congratulations! Your system is now ready to use our mirrored repositories.

Notes:

The address provided is for the HTTP service. Should you have any issues or if you prefer using FTP, just replace http:// by ftp:// in the address to use the FTP service instead.
As stated in the Arch Linux's Wiki, HTTP should be given preference over FTP. You can read more about it here.

$ sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/source.list.bak

Next download the script to detect if your distro is available in our mirrors:

$ wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GLUA-UA/UbuntuMirrorsScript/master/glua_mirrors_ubuntu.sh

After doing so, you will need to run the script to update your sources.list file:

 sudo bash glua_mirrors_ubuntu.sh

If you get the message "Release não disponível nos mirrors", we don't have the desired distro :( in our mirrors. Otherwise you can proceed to the next step.

Finally update apt-get's index files:

$ sudo apt-get update

Congratulations! Your system is now ready to use our mirrored repositories.

The example above is for the version 14.04 and above of Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu. If you use another version just replace the word raring in th$
